Our Aim
We're committed to growing disciples of Jesus who sacrifice, serve and speak for the sake of others to grow the gospel and to grow the church and this commitment flows into rockypc KIDS.
We want to help families grow as disciples together by teaching kids in an age appropriate way and by using material that follows the sermon series in church.
Our Staff
All our rockypc KIDS team members are volunteers from our rockypc congregations who have received PresSafe and rockypc KIDS leader training. It is also a requirement that our team obtain a Working With Children Blue Card.
Our rockypc KIDS team leader is Susan Johnstone, so if you've got any questions, feel free to talk to her on a Sunday.
How rockypc KIDS Runs
rockypc KIDS caters for children aged 2 through to the end of grade 5.
Each Sunday, the kids participate with the whole church family in the auditorium for around 15 minutes.
Then they go into the rockypc KIDS room for a song, story or game as a large group.
From there, the kids break into smaller age groups.
During rockypc KIDS, there will be games, Bible discussion, prayer, craft and other activities for each group.
Usually the kids will be learning from the same Bible passage as the adults so that we are learning as families.
We want to support parents as the primary Bible teachers for their kids.
