Starting Sunday May 17, we will begin a new Bible Talk series called “In My Place: The Cross Of Christ”. It’s an 7 week series looking Jesus death on the cross as a substitute for us, dying for our sins. Jesus died the death that we should have died. He payed the penalty for our sins by his death for us so we could be declared right with God. The Bible is filled with the idea of a penal substitute who dies on behalf of many all pointing us towards Jesus. During the series we will look the Bible books of Exodus, Leviticus, Isaiah, John, Romans, Galatians & 1 Peter. Our small groups will be following the series with studies prepared on each of the passages during the week. Of course, the talks will be available to listen to online or to podcast through iTunes but we would love to see you at church if you live in Rockhampton or you are visiting or just passing through.
